Sarah Dickhausen is the founder of Her Voice Is Hers and a survivor of abuse—first in her early teenage years and again in adulthood. Though these experiences left deep wounds, they also gave her a voice she can no longer stay silent with.

Sarah launched Her Voice Is Hers because she intimately understands what it feels like to be silenced, overlooked, and fearful. She also knows she is not alone. There are many other "Sarahs” in the world—girls and women burdened by trauma, shame, and pain—waiting for a place where their voices can be heard. This platform is built for them, for you, for every voice still waiting to speak.
Sarah holds a Master’s degree in Teaching, has worked as a paralegal and a licensed teacher, and currently serves as General Manager at a privately owned business in Minnesota. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries. Through these varied roles, she’s learned a vital truth: behind every face, every title, every story—there is a person worthy of being heard.
Her Voice Is Hers exists to help women and girls tell those stories—without judgment, without shame—because healing begins the moment we speak.
